    These Golden Greek Bowls are a simple combination of two of my favorite recipes, with a few added fresh ingredients like cucumbers and greek yogurt.

    My new favorite week day lunch

    This weekly meal prep recipe is my new favorite for a few major reasons: it doesn't require a bunch of fancy tools, takes only about an hour to prep and is satisfyingly delicious. 

    Golden greek bowl essentials:

    For these golden greek bowls I used a few of my other recipes from the blog to create a cohesive meal.

    The grilled turmeric chicken recipe pairs perfectly with the golden rice as they both use Ahara's Turmeric Black Pepper Ghee.

    It seemed like destiny to add a few lightly seasoned cucumbers (salt, pepper, a squeeze of lemon) and some greek yogurt to give the dish a crunch and a cool creamy element. Check out the Glass Meal Prep Containers I use here.

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • Golden Rice
    • Grilled Turmeric Chicken
    • 4-5 small Persian cucumbers
    • 2 cups greek yogurt

    Instructions

    1. Get the recipe for my Grilled Turmeric Chicken here.
    2. Get the recipe for my Golden Rice here
    3. In your glass containers, start with a large spoonful of rice. Top with chopped chicken pieces. In a separate compartment or small container add a scoop of greek yogurt and chopped cucumber. Enjoy!
