Coquito is one of those Puerto Rican recipes that defines the holiday season. It’s not Christmas if someone in your family didn’t enjoy a little too much of this stuff.

It’s a sweet and creamy, spice infused drink that highlights flavors of cinnamon and coconut in a spectacular way. While the traditional cocktail is made with rum and a steeped spice tea, today we’re making a shortcut alcohol free version that’s the perfect creamer.

Store it in the fridge and use it to sweeten (and spice) up your coffee all week long!

How to Make A Coquito Latte

Tip: This recipe makes a decent batch of non-alcoholic coquito. I recommend storing it in an air tight container in the fridge and it should keep for up to one week.

Sweetened Condensed Milk + Coconut Milk

We’re relying on a can of sweetened condensed milk + coconut milk in this shortcut version of Coquito. The condensed milk adds plenty of sweetness and creaminess, while the coconut milk provides that signature coconut flavor!
