Avocado Tuna Poke Tapas with Crispy Fried Wonton Chips

Description

These avocado tuna poke tapas are the perfect appetizer served with crispy fried wonton chips. Grab some sushi grade tuna and make them today!


Ingredients

For the Tuna

-1/2 lb sushi grade tuna cut into small cubes

-1 avocado cut into small cubes

-1/2 cup coconut aminos

-2 tbsp sriracha

-1 tsp sesame oil

-1/4 cup chives

For the Wonton Chips

– 1 package wonton wrappers

-2 cups vegetable oil for frying

For Garnish

-1 tbsp black sesame seeds

-1 sheet seaweed paper

-2 tbsp minced chives


Instructions

  1. in a medium sized frying pan heat your oil to 375. cut your wonton wrappers in half diagonally and fry for 15-20 seconds on each side or until golden brown. remove and dry on a paper towel.
  2. in a medium mixing bowl combine all ingredients for the poke except tuna and avocado. mix well then fold in the cubed tuna and avocado.
  3. top wontons with a small spoonful of the poke and sprinkle with sesame seeds, chives and thinly sliced seaweed.
