- 3–4 green plantains
- 4 cups canola or vegetable oil for frying
- Salt

Instructions
- Peel and slice the plantains into ½ inch thick fry shaped pieces. Add the oil to a heavy bottomed pot and heat to 300 degrees F.
- Fry the plantains. Gently add the plantains to the oil using a heat safe tool and fry for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain and sprinkle with salt. Enjoy!
