Scale
- 2 oz tequila
- 2 oz guava puree or 4 oz juice
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup, honey, or agave
- 1/2 oz triple sec
- 1 oz coconut cream (optional)
- ice
- optional garnish/rim: tajin, lime slices, jalapeno slices, fresh guava, etc.
Instructions
- Prep your glass & garnish. Rim your glass with something wet (lime juice, agave, honey, chamoy) before dipping into tajin. Place the glass in the freezer while you prep the margarita.
- Shake & serve. Add the tequila, guava puree or juice, lime juice, simple syrup, triple sec, and coconut cream (if using) to the base of a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake well before straining into your chilled glass over additional ice.
Notes
For a spicy marg: Muddle a few jalapeno slices in the base of your cocktail shaker before adding remaining ingredients.
Fresh guava: If you have fresh guava fruit you’d like to use, scoop the pulp out of the guava and add to the base of your cocktail shaker first. Muddle before adding the remaining ingredients (skipping the guava puree or juice) as well as ½ oz of grenadine (for color).
