Ingredients

Units Scale

For a Single Cocktail:

  • 1/2 cup fresh super ripe mango, diced into cubes
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz agave or simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur
  • 1 1/2 oz tequila
  • ice
  • optional garnish: chamoy, tajin, lime slices

For a Pitcher (makes about 5 margaritas):

  • 2 1/2 cups fresh super ripe mango, diced into cubes
  • 5 oz lime juice
  • 2 1/2 oz agave or simple syrup
  • 2 1/2 oz orange liqueur
  • 7 1/2 oz tequila
  • ice
  • optional garnish: chamoy, tajin, lime slices

Instructions

For a Single Cocktail:

  1. (Optional) Prep your glass. Rim a glass with chamoy before dipping in tajin. Using the back of a spoon dipped in chamoy, smear a design on the inside of the glass. Cut a thin slice of lime.
  2. Muddle. Add diced mango chunks, lime juice, and agave or simple syrup to the base of a cocktail shaker. Muddle until a puree-like consistency forms.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients. Add the orange liqueur, tequila and ice to the shaker and shake until the outside of the shaker feels frosty.
  4. Strain over ice. Strain the cocktail into a prepared glass over ice and garnish with a slice of lime. Enjoy!

For a Pitcher:

  1. (Optional) Prep your glasses. Rim 5 glasses with chamoy before dipping in tajin. Using the back of a spoon dipped in chamoy, smear a design on the inside of the glasses. Cut a lime into thin slices.
  2. Muddle. Add diced mango chunks, lime juice, and agave or simple syrup to the base of a pitcher. Muddle until a puree-like consistency forms.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients. Add the orange liqueur, tequila to the pitcher and mix until evenly combined.
  4. Strain over ice. Strain the contents of the pitcher (to remove any solids) into prepared glasses filled with ice and garnish each with a slice of lime. Enjoy!
