Description

Learn how to make your own homemade pineapple juice using only fresh pineapple. It comes together in under 30 minutes and the result is ultra fresh juice, that’s high in nutrients and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole pineapple

Instructions

  1. Peel the pineapple. Start by slicing off the top and bottom of the pineapple with a knife. Next, remove the peel by slicing from the top of the cutting fruit to the bottom, in small sections.a hand slicing a pineapple on a cutting board
  2. Chop into small chunks. Don’t worry about removing the center of the pineapple. Chop the peeled pineapple into chunks that are small enough to fit in the blender.chopped pineapple in a bowl
  3. Blend. Blend the pineapple until it appears liquid and no large chunks remain.chopped pineapple in a blender
  4. Strain out solids. Assemble your strainer or cheese cloth over a large bowl. Pour the contents of the blender into the strainer. Squeeze the juice out of the cheese cloth or use a spoon to move the pulp around if using a mesh strainer. Continue until all the juice has been strained. Notes

Consistency Tip: Feel free to add a splash of water to thin out the juice if it’s too thick for your liking.

Recommended Straining Tools: A fine mesh strainer, large piece of cheese cloth, or a nut milk bag.

Making the Juice in a Juicer: If you own a juicer, remove the skin from the pineapple as instructed in step 1. From there, chop your pineapple into pieces small enough to fit through the entrance of your juicer. Process the pineapple the way you would with any other fruits or veggies and enjoy!
