  • ½ cup dark roasted coffee, freshly ground or whole bean
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cardamom
  • ½ tsp ground clove
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp ground star anise


  1. Prepare the spiced coffee beans. If using whole beans and spices, combine the beans and spices in your coffee grinder before blending. If using pre-ground, simply mix the pre-ground spices and coffee together in a container.
  2. Make the coffee. Brew the spiced beans however you like to make your coffee.  Serve with warm milk and sugar.
