Description

These Caprese Salad Skewers are my favorite appetizer to bring to potlucks because they come together in 10 minutes and everyone always loves them! All you need is mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and a balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 balls mozzarella
  • 24 basil leaves
  • 24 cherry tomatoes
  • 24 toothpicks
  • optional: 1 tbsp balsamic glaze*

Instructions

  1. Assemble. Create an assembly line of the toothpicks, tomatoes, basil and cheese. In whatever order you like, add the three ingredients to the toothpicks (I like to do tomatoes, basil leaf, cheese). Repeat the steps until you’ve used all your ingredients.
  2. Finish & enjoy. Drizzle with balsamic glaze (if using) and serve!

Notes

To make the balsamic glaze, pour 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar into a saucepan and reduce by half. Set aside to cool and keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
