MINT SYRUP

INGREDIENTS

Combine the mint & sugar. In a heat resistant Pyrex measuring cup or glass container, combine the mint leaves and sugar.

Steep with hot water. Bring some water to a boil in a pot or kettle. Pour over the mint and sugar and mix well to dissolve the sugar. Steep for 15 minutes.

Strain out the mint. Pour the liquid through a mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a jar, straining out all of the mint leaves.

Store. Store the syrup in an air tight jar in the fridge for up to 1 month.
