Baked Sweet Potato FriesIf you’ve ever had sweet potato fries before, you know it’s all about a crispy, crunchy exterior, paired with a soft, warm interior. Usually, the easiest way to achieve this perfect combination is by deep frying the potatoes. And while I’m all for a good deep fry, my goal was for this recipe to be both easy to make and somewhat healthy (both things that deep frying struggles to be). So, I turned to the oven. I’ve found the perfect cooking oil to make your baked fries perfect EVERY. TIME.
The Ultimate Roasting OilI’ve mentioned this before and I’ll mention it again, ghee is the best oil for roasting veggies in the oven. Cauliflower, potatoes, turnips; they all are enhanced when tossed in ghee and baked in the oven. Click here to check out my favorite ghee on Amazon. For those of you who aren’t interested/able to get your hands on a jar, I find olive oil works great when I’m out of ghee.
