Lessons from my Grandma

This Moroccan Lamb Risotto is inspired by one of my favorite dishes made by my grandma. Ever since I was little, communicating with my relatives in Morocco was difficult because we spoke different languages. My grandma specifically grew up in a small village outside of Marrakech and only speaks Berber and some Moroccan Arabic; I only speak English. Shrimp Carbonara 

This dish was designed specially for a new client of mine. My boyfriend doesn’t like shrimp so I really leaned in to recipe testing on this one and took full advantage of any opportunity to eat them. This carbonara actually convinced him that shrimp is pretty great! The combination of sweet pancetta, creamy parmesan and fresh herbs is tough to beat.

Brown Butter Sage Ravioli 

My first time making ravioli was a success! My friend/second mom Linda always made the most amazing homemade ravioli and I was lucky enough to get lessons from the master herself today. Stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach and sautéed in browned butter with fresh sage leaves these are perfect in every way.
