Sorry to start your day off with a math equation… but WOW. These crostini with brie cheese are baked in the oven until the cheese gets all melty and creamy and the bread is perfectly toasted. Then they’re topped with a spoonful of organic Adriatic fig jam.

Although being allergic to wheat is a huge challenge, I am extremely lucky to live in a city like Portland. There are so many bakeries and restaurants like New Cascadia that are dedicated to providing high quality, gluten free food! If you are lucky enough to live in an area with gluten free options, and can find a worthy gluten free baguette, get one and make these crostini.

Description

These crostini with brie cheese are baked in the oven until the cheese gets all melty and creamy and the bread is perfectly toasted. Then they’re topped with a spoonful of organic Adriatic fig jam.


Ingredients

– 1/2 wheel brie cheese

-4-5 tbsp Adriatic fig jam

-1 gluten free baguette


Instructions

  1. preheat the oven to 350. slice the baguette into thin slices
  2. spread slices of brie onto the sliced bread. bake for 15 minutes. top each crostini with a teaspoon of jam!
