1 cup flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons melted butter

1 egg

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons white sugar

2 tablespoons vanilla

1/4 cup half and half

1/2 cup confectioners sugar

1/4 cup cocoa powder

2 tablespoons melted butter

2-3 tablespoons half and half (add as little or much as you need for the consistency you desire)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease donut pan with butter or a non-stick spray. In a large bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt until no lumps remain. In a smaller bowl melt butter and mix with brown sugar, white sugar, egg, half and half and vanilla. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined completely. Do not over mix. Pour into a large ziplock bag or piping bag and pipe into donut pan until molds are about half way full. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from molds and cool on a rack.

For icing, combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Either pipe or spread frosting on donuts once they have cooled completely. Enjoy!
